Spring, 2002 All unit owners should have received a copy of the rules and regulations when they purchased their unit at Sunwatch, but, depending on the date they moved in, they received different documents. The covenants committee worked hard to compile all the varieties into one single document and drop redundant rules. The final document incorporates the requirements and deed restrictions specified in the Condominium Declaration, has been approved by the Board, and has been mailed to all unit owners. Please take some time to look over the rules and familiarize yourself with this document. If you haven't received your copy, please contact Kay Strehle at Rampart. Condo LivingWe all need to follow the rules and to take care of our beautiful building. Here are a few points to remember: Expenditures must be pre-approved by the Board. Decorations and enhancements must be pre-approved by the Board. Sometimes people try to do something nice for the building with the best of intentions, but it must be discussed with the Board first. Be sure to include your name and unit number on any correspondence to the Board, including letters or notes in the Suggestion Box. It is a good practice to drain your water heater periodically. This will help prevent rust damage and leaks. How-to information on this task has been placed on the bulletin boards, and you can contact Tim Wukie for additional information. Please drive carefully when entering and exiting the garage. There are some tight turns and it takes some attention to avoid hitting the garage doors. The Landscaping Committee would like to install a flagpole outside the building. This has not been included in the current budget and is estimated to cost about $2,000.
